About me
Charlotte Moses Bélanger is a clinical counselor holding a master’s degree in psychoeducation with nearly two decades of experience with the Mira Foundation, where she has been involved since 2008.
She has developed a strong understanding of the different stages in the life cycle of assistance dogs, from selection and training to matching, active service, and retirement, as well as their meaningful impact on beneficiaries.She specializes in project evaluation and in supporting organizations applying to receive a facility service dog, helping institutions prepare for successful and sustainable integration
Charlotte also provides psychosocial support to handlers and institutional representatives throughout their training and during the dog’s working life. Her work focuses on strengthening human–animal partnerships to promote well-being, safety, and autonomy.
