Jackie Clark has spent more than 25 years in the assistance dog field, with experience spanning breeding program management, puppy development, training systems, volunteer support, and placement planning. Through Working Dog Innovations, she helps organizations strengthen the systems that move dogs from thoughtful breeding decisions to successful working partnerships.
Jackie’s work emphasizes the value of purpose-bred dogs: dogs whose health, temperament, resilience, and working aptitudes are intentionally supported from the start. In justice facility dog roles, where the work can be emotionally complex and highly variable, that predictability matters for both client outcomes and dog welfare. When dogs are bred, raised, trained, placed, and supported in ways that fit who they are, they are more likely to succeed and to enjoy the work they do.
